Android TV-Box Nexus Player Deleted after Only One Year

Exactly one year: So short time got the small and affordable tv-box with Android TV, Nexus Player, allowed to be on sale in Google’s Web store.

If you want Android operating system onto your tv in an easy-to-use design optimized for the large screen area, is the little tv box from Asus made in cooperation for Google, Nexus Player, a good and relatively inexpensive solution.

This option is, however, now gone, for the small box with Android and Google TV multicast functionality has just been discontinued from Google Store-Web shop, where Google sells the Nexus phones, Chromecasts and accessories.

In Denmark arrived Nexus Player in Google Store-Web shop -and-a-half years later than the United States, and thus has the small black box only been possible to purchase through Google in exactly a year.

Usually one can resort to other webshops for some time, after an item has been discontinued, but there is not a single Danish dealer who immediately has the tv box in stock anymore, so it appears to be an early and final farewell to Nexus Player from ASUS.

Are you sitting and are looking for a device that can run Android TV your flat screen, is it worth taking a look at the two significantly better alternatives, NVIDIA SHIELD and Razer Forge TV, however, also cost anything more.
The latest tv-box with Android TV which operating system is from Chinese Xiaomi with model Mi Box, launched by Google I/O, is also worth a look at. However, it is somewhat doubtful whether it will be possible to get your hands on here in Denmark.
