HSDPA 7.2 Mbps

The American operator Cingular almost ready has an increase of speed of its HSDPA network which will allow its users to achieve the 7.2 Mbps, that can reach up to now is half, 3.6 Mbps, although the HSDPA specifications in theory allow to reach the 14 Mbps.

So, Cingular will offer 7.2 Mbps down and maintain the ascent at 384 Kbps, but users will need new data cards to enjoy these speeds, cards that have yet to reach the market.
