iPhone tips and tricks: use iCloud for backing up your data

If you are using one of the world’s most popular smart phones – iPhone and you are afraid of losing your files, today’s blog posts can help you take care of them, so you can finally relax a bit: it is of course possible to back up files automatically, reliable and wireless.

iCloud can back up your data automatically, and it is actually very easy to turn it on.
You can do it in five steps:

  1. Go to “Settings”
  2. Press the “iCloud”
  3. Press the “Storage and copying”
  4. Beat the “iCloud-backup” to
  5. Press the “back up now”

That’s it. So fine!

Restore iPhone from iCloud-copy

You have backed up your data, and a while later you buy you a new model – maybe iPhone 6 as everyone is waiting for. Or you need to solve a problem, and you have to restore your iPhone in order to be able to do it.
You can always restore your data from iCloud-backup using iOS Setup Assistant.

You must first follow the first step
Select “Recover from iCloud-copy”
Select the backup copy


icloud-the memory used for iCloud-backup documents and appdata, and you get 5 GB of free memory, when you register on iCloud. Remember that you can always buy you a memory upgrade, if you need more space.
It is done very easy: go to the “Settings” > “iCloud” > “Storage and backup”, and then press the “buy more space” or “Change storage subscription”.
