When Samsung launched the first Note-mobile, changed the market, and it has become commonplace to produce phones with larger screens. The first Note-mobile was launched in 2011, and three years later, Samsung launched two new Note-top models at the same time!
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 – the strong heir to Note 3
Galaxy Note 4 has a large, SuperAmoled screen on 5.7 inch and a bright pixel density of approximately 515 dpi. The phone measures 153.5 x 78.6 x 8.5 mm and weighs 176 grams and has a S Pen stylus and finger print reader. Galaxy Note 4 has 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory and Snapdragon Qualcom 805 chip. There have also been several improvements when it comes to cameras, so Samsung’s latest phablet has a 16 .2MP main camera with LED Flash and practical functions such as face and smile detection, Dual Shot and HDR, as well as a 3.7 MP front camera.
Note 4 the Galaxy runs Android 4.4.4 (KitKat), and it can, among other things, recognize handwriting to execute different commands. Because it is so thin, it is not difficult to use it daily, and it’s easy to always have it with, in spite of the big screen.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge – A revolutionary flagship with a unique screen
Galaxy Note Edge similar to Galaxy Note 4, but the use of the curved screen, which is something new on the market, because it is used in a new and smart way, thanks “Curved Edge screen” technology. Nevertheless, many expected that Samsung will launch such a cell due to several rumors and leaks. Galaxy Note Edge measuring 151.3 x 82.4 x 8.3 mm and weighs 174 grams, which means that it is slightly smaller and 2 grams lighter than Galaxy Note 4. As Galaxy Note 4, have Galaxy Note Edge a fingerprint reader and Samsung’s renowned S Pen stylus. The screen is not “only” curved, although it is the biggest difference between the two top models, but it also has a slightly higher pixel density (approximately 524 dpi).
Both models have the same main and front camera (16 MP main camera; 3.5 MP front camera), the same chip and 3 GB RAM. Galaxy Note 4 has an internal memory of either 32 or 64 GB depending on the model.
The only disappointment when it comes to Galaxy Note Edge is that everything is pointing to the top model will not be available in Scandinavia, because Samsung is planning to sell it in selected countries.
