Sony Introduces the New Xperia X

During his lecture at the Mobile World Congress in progress right now, Sony officially unveiled its new Xperia X, X Performance and Xperia XA, three devices belonging to a new range produced in Japanese, well differentiated with regard to membership range.

The new Xperia X Performance represents the top of the new range X and is equipped with the next generation SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, 3 GB of RAM, a display FullHD from 5 “and 32 GB of internal memory expandable, whereas, on Xperia X, we always find a 5” full HDand 3 GB of RAM, although the SoC becomes a new Snapdragon 650 esa core ,

Sony Xperia XA is a lower-end device, featuring a 5 ” HD 720 presolution, processor MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 octa core with GPU Mali-T860MP2, 2 GB of RAM, 8 MegaPixel main camera and front by 13 Megapixels. There is also a 2300 mAh battery that includes new technologies Sony described just below.

Sony has placed particular emphasis on two main changes: the camera and the battery. As for the camera we find a main module from 23 Megapixels that integrates the new Hybrid Predictive Autofocustechnology, in collaboration with the Sony alpha team and integrated onXperia X and X Performance; There is also the Clear Image Zoom 5 x and support at ISO 12800. The front camera is a module to 13 Megapixels . We also find a battery, from 2700 mAh on Xperia X Performance and 2620 mAh on Xperia X, can offer up to 2 days and a double life cycle than conventional batteries, thanks to the technology of Adaptive Charging Qnovo, assisted by the traditional Sony Stamina mode.

The design, although apparently very similar to the traditional Sony has some big change especially when it comes to Xperia X Performance. We find a display with curved edges, merged into a metal housing that make it particularly elegant Terminal.

Like all major proposed solutions in Barcelona, also in this case the operating system is being entrusted to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The new Xperia X, X and XA Performance will come on the market in June in White, Graphite Black, Lime Gold and Rose Gold.
