Android Wear 2.0 was announced at the i/o Conference with independent mobile apps, improved notifications and news focused on exercise. He would be released during the fourth quarter, but got to 2017. What happened?

Google says to The Verge “quality requirements” ended up delaying the release. Three major partners-Huawei, Motorola and LG – warned that no new smartwatches will bring to the market this year; Maybe they’re waiting for this update.

Android 2.0 Wear is in preview for developers. The latest version offers access to Play Store, for you to download apps directly (including between iOS users); and get intelligent answers on notifications of messaging apps, automatically generated by artificial intelligence.

In addition to the low adoption in the market, Android Wear faces other problems. Watches as the Asus Zenwatch 2 and the Bike 360 can’t connect to iPhone 7; Apple knows of the problem, but still no period to fix it.

The first generation 360 and the LG G Watch Square will not receive Android Wear 2.0;While Sony, Asus and Samsung say they “can’t speculate on future updates”.
